The HF3 Conference room is a key demonstration facility for Intel's latest consumer product range. The room includes a 4x2 video wall driven by a Cinemassive controller. A unique widget was created for the user interface allowing layout data to be dynamically updated on the control panel. This is an industry first for the Crestron platform. The widget is compatible with many other popular video controller platforms including RGB Spectrum, Matrox, and Jupiter.
For video collaboration a custom module was created to leverage the "one touch" meeting feature of the Cisco C90 codec (prior to the release of the module by Cisco). Users schedule meetings via Outlook and at the designated time the meeting notice will appear on the Crestron control panel where a single button will initiate the call and perform all the necessary routing to the video wall.
The basic mode auto detects inputs that the users have connected for display on the video wall.
The advanced mode features full control of the video wall layouts.
