MGM's corporate headquarters in Beverly Hills features a 150-seat screening room, a smaller executive screening room, a boardroom, and several small conference rooms. The project was designed by Interior Architects with audiovisual consulting by Veneklasen Associates. I served as the senior audiovisual consultant and control systems programmer.
The main screening room features a 25-foot projection screen with masking and a 7.1 QSC cinema audio system. The room supports DCI-compliant playback as well as playback from a range of professional and consumer devices, and presentations from laptops with speech reinforcement. The room is fully automated using a Crestron control system.
