The Marquis is a landmark property for the Marriott chain, and among the top revenue generating hotels in the brand. Extensive renovations were conducted from 2009 - 2011. The applicant designed and programmed all of the property’s audio-visual systems. The systems include a fitness center, grand pool and pool bar, 75,000 sq/ft of meeting space, and full service restaurant and bar.
The music and meeting room audio systems utilize Media Matrix NION audio processors outfitted with Dante network audio interfaces. The systems are interconnected using an HP ProCurve networking infrastructure. The system was one of the first major installations using the Dante networking protocol.
A Crestron control system provides master control of the system. 23 Crestron processors and 71 touch panels provide advanced systems control of audio, video and lighting.
