The Soul of Nashville tells the story of the Ryman Auditorium, the Mother Church of Country Music and longtime home of the Grand Ole Opry. Designed by BRC Imagination Arts, the immersive experience uses projection mapping and audio to take visitors through the building's journey from humble church to world-class music venue.
Logic Architect provided show control programming and system commissioning, including audio tuning, projector focus, and color calibration. The system uses 17 projectors, 15 media servers, and a Q-SYS audio DSP system, with the projectors mapped and blended to the room's architectural features. An Alcorn McBride show controller fully automates the show, synchronizing video, audio, motion, and lighting. The system was also programmed to support special events and presentations.
