ESRI is the world leader for GIS software solutions. The applicant designed and engineered the audio-visual systems for the corporate headquarters in Redlands, CA. Intense coordination was conducted with the Danish based architectural designer to ensure the technology components blended seamlessly into the room.
The feature of the auditorium is a 40’w x 15’h projection screen. A complex system of video routing, processing, and projection systems produce a high impact multi-window experience. Bringing the video system together is a Christie Spyder. The Spyder handles edge blending of two Christie HD10KM video projectors with dynamic multi-window support across the large screen.
The system features a 3.1 ch audio system using ribbon based column arrays. The array's were carefully integrated with the unique wood finishes of the ceiling and walls. Choosing the right perforation pattern for the wall and ceiling panels required R&D testing in an anechoic chamber (conducted by the applicant).
A robotic multi-camera system and seamless switcher provides broadcast quality image magnification and recording of events. Dual Cisco codecs are used to connect the auditorium to remote sites.

Foam core models of the main speaker cluster were built to test fit the rigging
